UNIPORT Muslim Students Dominate at South-South Quiz Competition, Winning Top Honors

Students from the University of Port Harcourt (UniPort) have secured a remarkable victory at the First Annual Inter-Institutional Quiz Competition for South-South tertiary institutions, sponsored by Taj Bank, Infinix, and Talent Hub Nigeria.

The competition was held at the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education in Port Harcourt.

The UniPort Muslim Students clinched the top spot with an impressive 55 points, outshining all other participating institutions. The quiz covered a range of topics, including Islamic Knowledge, General Knowledge, English & Literature, and Mathematics.

Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Owunari Georgewill, commended the students for their dedication and hard work, which led to this significant achievement. He emphasized that their victory has once again placed UniPort in the spotlight and contributed to the university’s reputation for academic excellence.
