The University of Ibadan is set to host its 2024 Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) Fair on November 8th and 9th, themed “Moving the SME Glocal Community Forward through Technology, Innovation, and Creativity.”

The University of Ibadan (UI) is gearing up to host its 2024 Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) Fair, aimed at advancing innovation and enhancing the global competitiveness of Nigerian SMEs. The highly anticipated event, themed “Moving the SME Glocal Community Forward through Technology, Innovation, and Creativity,” is scheduled to take place on November 8th and 9th at the International Conference Centre, University of Ibadan.

According to Prof. Ruth Ochanya Adio-Moses, the convener of the fair, the goal of the event is to provide a platform for entrepreneurs, students, and industry leaders to exchange ideas, explore cutting-edge technological advancements, and expand business networks.

The two-day fair will feature a variety of activities, including keynote speeches, panel discussions, and workshops, all centered around the development of SMEs. Participants will also enjoy product exhibitions, inter-university competitions, pitch events, and business matchmaking sessions, providing startups and emerging innovators the opportunity to showcase their ideas, gain exposure, and attract potential investors.
