University of Ilorin Issues Notice to Students on Hostel Vacating Dates

The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has issued an important notice to students regarding the vacating dates for hostels.

According to the notice, non-final year students are expected to vacate the hostels by Friday, July 18, 2025, while graduating students who are yet to complete their projects or research works will be permitted to stay until July 31, 2025.

The university has cited the need to commence renovations and preparations for the 2025/26 academic session as the reason for the hostel vacating dates. The hostels will be closed by midnight on July 31, 2025.

Students on SWEP/SIWES/Teaching Practice who intend to stay back will be required to register and pay a token for the extra period commencing August 1, 2025.

The university has assured that there will be no increment in hostel fees for the current session, and old rates will be maintained across the board.
