University of Lagos Biochemist Selected for Women Advance: Research Security Fellowship

Professor Miriam N. lgwo-Ezikpe, a distinguished faculty member in the Department of Biochemistry at the University of Lagos, has been chosen as a Fellow in the Women Advance: Research Security Fellowship program. This prestigious fellowship, organized by the Civilian Research and Development Foundation (CRDF) Global, aims to empower women in research security and enhance their expertise in non-proliferation efforts.

The fellowship brings together participants from Argentina, South Africa, and Nigeria, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange. Professor lgwo-Ezikpe’s selection recognizes her leadership potential and commitment to advancing research security.

The fellowship, spanning approximately five months (July to November 2024), will officially begin in mid-September, with a kick-off meeting scheduled for mid-August.
