University of Maiduguri Adjusts Working Hours for Ramadan

The University of Maiduguri has announced a change in working hours for its staff during the holy month of Ramadan.

The new working hours, which take effect immediately, are as follows:Monday to Thursday: 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m and Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The adjusted working hours are intended to accommodate the fasting observed by Muslim staff and students during Ramadan. The university has urged all staff members to adjust their schedules accordingly and adhere to the new timings.

The announcement was made by the Office of the Registrar in a circular dated March 3, 2025. The university appreciates the cooperation and understanding of its staff in this matter.
