University of Maiduguri Biochemistry Department Participates in NSBMB's 41st Annual Scientific Conference

The Department of Biochemistry, University of Maiduguri, actively participated in the 41st Annual Scientific Conference of the Nigerian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (NSBMB) held at Nasarawa State University, Keffi, from July 6th to 10th, 2025.

The conference theme, "Innovation in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology: Tools for Sustainable Development and Poverty Alleviation," brought together top scholars, researchers, and professionals in the fields of biochemistry and molecular biology.

The Head of Department, Dr. Yahaya Tijjani, engaged in meaningful discussions with fellow experts, including Prof. Chukwumaobim D. Nwokwu, a renowned cancer researcher from Florida, USA.
