The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) Department of Mathematics has released crucial guidelines for the upcoming Computer-Based Test (CBT) for MTH 111. All students are required to adhere to the following instructions to ensure a smooth examination process:

1. Exam Preparation:

  • Students are permitted to bring only their Matriculation Number and National Identification Number (NIN) into the test venue.
  • Handsets, calculators, electronic devices, handkerchiefs, course registration printouts, and any other papers are strictly prohibited.

2. Dress Code and Venue Details:

  • Decent dressing is mandatory within the exam hall.
  • Due to the limited number of computers, the CBT will be conducted in batches.

3. Arrival and Biometric Verification:

All students are expected to arrive at the venue at least one hour before their scheduled start time for biometric verification, check-in, and proper seating.

4. Batch Timing and Attendance:

  • Students must remain attentive and alert to hear when their batch is called. Each batch will be closed or locked 20 minutes after it starts, to accommodate the next batch.
  • Late arrivals will not be allowed to take the test if they are more than 10 minutes late. If you arrive late, you will only have the remaining time of your batch to complete the test.

5. Test Conduct:

  • Students who miss their assigned batch will not be allowed to reschedule or take the test in another batch. There is no plan for a mop-up test.
  • Paper for rough work will be provided at the entrance. Students must write their name, registration number, department, and signature on the rough sheet and submit it at the end of the test as it will serve as attendance.
