"The security man, alleged to have been abducted alongside a female nurse by armed hoodlums... has been rescued by Police Operatives," stated Daniel Ndukwe, spokesperson for the State Police Command.

The Commissioner of Police, Kanayo Uzuegbu, has issued directives for intensified efforts to rescue Ozalla and bring the culprits to justice.
