Professor Bilbis, who was elected on July 11, 2019, has overseen numerous accomplishments during his tenure. As he steps down, an acting Vice Chancellor will take over until a new Vice Chancellor is elected.

Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto marks the end of the official tenure of Professor Lawal Sulaiman Bilbis, who is concluding his five-year term as the 9th Vice Chancellor.
Professor Bilbis, who was elected on July 11, 2019, has overseen numerous accomplishments during his tenure. As he steps down, an acting Vice Chancellor will take over until a new Vice Chancellor is elected.
