Ahmadu Bello University Hosts Two-Week Training on Artificial Insemination at NAPRI

Ahmadu Bello University’s National Animal Production Research Institute (NAPRI) has commenced a two-week intensive training on artificial insemination for service providers. The training, which began on Wednesday, 20th November 2024, is being conducted in collaboration with the Bauchi State Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (L-PRES).
The session, held at NAPRI’s headquarters in Shika, Zaria, will run until Wednesday, 4th December 2024. The programme is designed to equip participants with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in artificial insemination.
During the opening, Prof. Muhammad Rabiu Hassan, Executive Director of NAPRI, reaffirmed the institute’s commitment to driving research, innovation, and capacity building in animal production, stressing the importance of the training for enhancing Nigeria’s livestock sector.
