Remarkably, within just 48 hours of the announcement, VDM raised an impressive N56.4 million in donations from his supporters.
In a display of transparency and accountability, VDM shared a screenshot detailing the total contributions received. He highlighted that many of the donations were small, with most contributors giving N500 or less, demonstrating a broad base of grassroots support for his cause.
In a heartfelt message to his supporters, VDM expressed gratitude, stating, “Barely 24 hours since I announced my NGO, if I tell you how much is in that account now, you would not believe it. First of all, shout out to all the people who have sent money, shout out to the people sending money. God will bless you.”
He further acknowledged the overwhelming love and support he received, noting the range of contributions that included amounts as low as N22 and N50. “To be very honest, most of the money that was contributed was from N500 naira down. It means most of these people no get, but they want to support me. The love is massive,” he added.
VDM has also reached out to prominent figures such as Davido and Cubana Chief Priest, urging them to support the initiative, emphasizing that every contribution, no matter the size, is valuable.
