Yobe State Government Distributes Free JAMB Forms to Thousands of Indigent Students

In a bid to promote education and empower less privileged youth, the Yobe State Government has distributed free Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) forms to thousands of indigent students.

This initiative, led by Hon. Hashimu Nuhu Hashimu, Advisor to Governor Mai Mala Buni on Youth Affairs, aims to support young people seeking admission to universities, colleges, and other tertiary institutions.

This gesture demonstrates the state government's commitment to education and youth development, aligning with Governor Mai Mala Buni's administration's focus on enhancing the educational sector.¹ By providing free JAMB forms, the government hopes to alleviate financial burdens on indigent students and their families, thereby promoting equal access to education.
