Becca Ammy, a determined young Nigerian, has defied the odds by graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Health Education from Lagos State University after facing multiple academic setbacks, including failing the West African Examination Council (WAEC) thrice.

Despite encountering numerous obstacles in her educational journey, Becca Ammy has emerged victorious, celebrating her graduation with a Bachelor's degree in Health Education from Lagos State University. Her achievement is a testament to her resilience, perseverance, and unwavering determination to pursue her dreams despite facing significant challenges along the way.

Becca's academic journey was marked by setbacks, including failing the WAEC examination three times before finally achieving success. Additionally, she experienced delays in gaining admission to tertiary institutions despite performing well in her Unified Tertiary Matriculation Exam (UTME), which led to feelings of frustration and despair, even contemplating suicide at one point.

After multiple failed attempts, Becca eventually gained admission to Yaba College of Technology for a part-time program in Science Laboratory Technology. However, her academic struggles persisted, leading to further disappointment and setbacks.

Undeterred by her past challenges, Becca remained determined to pursue her education and explore opportunities for personal and academic growth. Despite initial hesitations due to financial constraints, she eventually enrolled in the Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations (JUPEB) program, supported by her adoptive parents.

Although Becca initially aspired to study nursing, she embraced the opportunity to study Health Education after being denied her preferred course. Her resilience and adaptability ultimately led to her successful completion of the program, culminating in her graduation with a second-class upper division and a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 3.60.

Reflecting on her journey, Becca offered words of encouragement to students facing similar challenges, emphasizing the importance of perseverance and resilience in overcoming obstacles. Her story serves as a powerful reminder that delay is not denial and that with determination and perseverance, success is achievable despite the odds.
