Youngest Celestial Church of Christ Member Becomes Professor of Mathematics at OAU

Temitope Gbolahan Jaiyeola, an accomplished evangelist of the Celestial Church of Christ and a distinguished expert in algebra, has achieved the prestigious rank of full professor. The erudite scholar and exceptionally gifted mathematician, renowned for his contributions, has been officially designated as a Professor of Mathematics by the Senate of Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile-Ife.
This significant announcement, made by the University in October 2023, carries the remarkable feature of being backdated six years, thereby acknowledging Jaiyeola's full professorship status from 2017. In addition to the academic recognition, this decision ensures that Jaiyeola will receive his long-overdue emoluments, providing a sense of relief for his contributions and dedication to mathematics.

Temitope Gbolahan Jaiyeola's achievement holds a place in history, marking him as one of the most brilliant minds within the Celestial Church of Christ and, remarkably, the youngest individual to attain the esteemed rank of Professor. His ascent to Professor of Mathematics occurred at the age of 38, coinciding with the age of the late Rev. Samuel Bilewu Joseph Oshoffa when he received the divine commission for the birth of the CCC in 1947.
Beyond his accomplishments in academia, Jaiyeola serves as a valuable member of the Investigation and Implementation Committee of the CCC Theological Seminary.
