In a remarkable achievement, Maud Chifamba, a young African prodigy, has secured a fully funded scholarship worth $155,000 to pursue her Masters of Business Administration (MBA) at the renowned Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania in the United States.

Maud's journey to academic excellence is a testament to her resilience and exceptional intellectual prowess. Born into poverty and orphaned at a young age, she faced numerous challenges but overcame them through her dedication to education.

Despite the financial constraints that hindered her access to a standard education, Maud's academic brilliance shone through. She demonstrated her capabilities when mistakenly given an examination paper for a grade above hers, which she passed with excellence.

Her journey continued with self-study, enabling her to complete her Ordinary Level in just two years. The Ministry of Education recognized her potential, leading to enrollment for the Advanced Level Examination in Zimbabwe. Her outstanding performance secured her a four-year scholarship valued at approximately $10,000.

At the remarkable age of 14, Maud embarked on her Bachelor's degree in Accountancy at the University of Zimbabwe, becoming one of the institution's youngest ever graduates at 18. Undeterred by challenges, she pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Accountancy from the same university, completing it at the age of 20.

Maud's academic journey didn't stop there. She qualified as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe and earned certification as a Public Accountant from the Public Accountants and Auditors Board Zimbabwe at the age of 23.
