Connor, a former student of Barking and Dagenham College, received the Middlesex University Community Scholarship valued at £600 in recognition of his exceptional dedication to community service. This scholarship aims to reward undergraduate students who serve as outstanding role models in their school, college, or community or have overcome personal difficulties and challenging situations.

A proactive member of a student team, Connor played a pivotal role in raising over £5,000 for the Poppy Appeal and contributed to the restoration of the Dagenham Parish Church Garden. His involvement extended to organizing a debate as part of a Peace Not War event at Rush Green College, where pupils from primary schools across the borough engaged in discussions on topical issues.
