In a groundbreaking achievement, 21-year-old Normandie Cormier has set an extraordinary record by graduating with her second degree from The Xavier University of Louisiana. Normandie, who won an outstanding $9.4 million scholarship in 2019, has etched her name in academia with her remarkable journey.

Normandie's academic journey began in 2019 when she clinched the remarkable $9.4 million scholarship after receiving acceptance from 139 universities in the United States. Choosing Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU), Normandie enrolled at The Xavier University of Louisiana to pursue her Bachelor's degree. Three years after her admission, she graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience, specializing in Biology and Chemistry.

Celebrating this achievement on LinkedIn, Normandie expressed her pride in obtaining her second college degree. She stated, *"I will be graduating from THEE illustrious Xavier University of Louisiana with my second college degree in Neuroscience. I am and will continue to be my ancestors' wildest dreams."*

Normandie not only graduated with two degrees at the age of 21 but also showcased an impressive array of achievements. Nominated as a 4-time White House HBCU scholar by Presidents Obama, Trump, Biden, and Reagan, Normandie highlighted her significant contributions.

She listed several awards and accomplishments, including being given the Key to New Orleans by Mayor Cantrell and her involvement in neuroscience research to alleviate drug and nicotine addiction.
