Adewunmi, who graduated with a bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery (MB;BS) from the Lagos State University's College of Medicine, demonstrated exceptional academic prowess by entering the College of Medicine with an impressive grade point average of 4.95/5.00. Throughout his medical school journey, Adewunmi remained actively engaged, both academically and beyond.

Notably, he initiated a non-profit project known as HealthDrive Nigeria, an innovative endeavor dedicated to combatting the challenges posed by infectious diseases. This project reflects his commitment to addressing critical health issues in his community and beyond.
