AAU Management Issues Advisory Ahead of Second-Semester Examinations

The Vice-Chancellor of Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Professor Mrs. Eunice Ebohserhiemen Omozoje, on behalf of the Governing Council, Management, Senate, staff, and students, has extended her best wishes to all students as they begin their second-semester examinations.

AAU Management Issues Advisory Ahead of Second-Semester Examinations

The Vice-Chancellor of Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Professor Mrs. Eunice Ebohserhiemen Omozoje, on behalf of the Governing Council, Management, Senate, staff, and students, has extended her best wishes to all students as they begin their second-semester examinations.

In a bulletin released on Monday, 17th November 2025, the University Management reiterated that the long-standing Senate policy prohibiting wild jubilation or celebrations within and outside the campus during or after examinations remains strictly in force.

The notice specifically bans the following acts:

  1. Pouring of water, sand, or drinks
  2. Motor, bike, or bicycle parades
  3. Consumption of alcohol, loud shouting, hooting, dancing, or any activity that may lead to disorderliness or criminal behavior
  4. Playing music or gathering crowds around the Administrative Building for celebration

The University warned that any student or group found engaging in prohibited acts may face severe sanctions, including possible cancellation of examinations. Students were advised to reserve celebrations for the official convocation ceremony.

Additionally, the Management reminded the university community that the law prohibiting students from driving cars into campus remains active, and violators will be punished. Parents, friends, and well-wishers were also urged to stay off campus during the examination period to maintain a peaceful and distraction-free environment.
