In a landmark event held on January 24th, 2024, the community of Abia State joined forces with the students of Micheal Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, in a resounding success against HIV/AIDS and Malaria. Spearheaded by the office of the Most Beautiful Queen in Abia, Queen Stella Okorie, in collaboration with the Treasurer of MOUAU, this initiative marked a significant milestone in the fight against these deadly diseases.

The event, a HIV/AIDS and Malaria Sensitization Seminar, attracted distinguished guests including the Senior Special Assistant to the governor on Vulnerable Groups and Poverty Alleviation, the State Coordinator of Moniepoint, the Director of Gifmag Concept, and a host of students and community members. Their collective presence underscored the importance and urgency of addressing these health challenges.
