ABU Vice-Chancellor reappoints Dr. Hauwa, Dr. Hannatu as Coordinators for SAFE, SEP

The Coordinator for Sasakawa Africa Fund for Extension Education (SAFE) Programme, Ahmadu Bello University, Dr. Hauwa Abdulkareem Yusuf, has been reappointed for another period of two years monitored by myschoolnews

ABU Vice-Chancellor reappoints Dr. Hauwa, Dr. Hannatu as Coordinators for SAFE, SEP

Similarly, the University’s Coordinator for Supervised Enterprise Project (SEP), Dr. Hannatu Ohunene Yusuf, has been reappointed to oversee the project for another two years. 

All the reappointments were approved by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Kabiru Bala, in a letter to each of them, and they all took effect from 10th July, 2023.

Dr. Hauwa teaches at the Department of Agricultural Extension and Rural Development, while Dr. Hannatu is a teaching staff at the Department of Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology.

The coordinators would continue to, among others, assist the University in coordinating regular communication and activities with the main stakeholders in consultation with their Heads of Department, and on the advice and consent of the Dean of Faculty Agriculture. 

On the relationship with the Faculty and its Departments, the Coordinators as key contact persons between partners of the programmes, would continue to be involved in all decisions regarding the management and disbursement of funds for the two programmes.
