ADSU Vice-Chancellor Pays Christmas Homage to Governor Fintiri; Commends Leadership Excellence
The Vice-Chancellor of Adamawa State University (ADSU), Mubi, Professor Augustine Clement, paid a formal Christmas homage to the Executive Governor of Adamawa State and Visitor to the University, Rt. Hon. Dr. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, on Sunday, 28th December 2025.
The visit, which took place at the Governor's residence in Gulak, served as an occasion to extend festive greetings and strengthen the relationship between the state government and the ivory tower.
During the visit, Professor Clement expressed profound gratitude to the Governor for his unwavering dedication to the growth of the state. He specifically lauded the "Fresh Air" administration for its significant contributions to the infrastructural and academic development of Adamawa State University, noting that the Visitor’s leadership has been a cornerstone of the institution’s recent successes.
"The University community remains appreciative of Your Excellency's outstanding leadership and the prioritized attention given to the education sector, which has positioned ADSU as a center of excellence," the Vice-Chancellor stated.
In his response, Governor Fintiri welcomed the delegation and reaffirmed his administration's commitment to supporting the university in its mission to provide quality education and foster human capital development for the benefit of Adamawa State and the nation.
The visit underscores the continued synergy between the University management and the state government in their shared vision for educational advancement.
