The African Union (AU) has announced the commencement of its 2024 Internship Program, offering a unique opportunity for young professionals across the continent. The program aimed to foster collaboration, knowledge exchange, and capacity building among African youth.

The internship program would run for three month at Ethopia, providing participants with an immersive experience in the AU's work and operations.
According to the Union, it would be opened to all African countries, seeking to attract a diverse pool of talent.
"Interns will receive a stipend to cover living expenses during their placement," AU noted, ensuring they can fully immense themselves in the experience without financial strains.
They also stated that participants would take part in specialized training sessions crafted to hone their skills and broaden their knowledge base. Interns would have the opportunity to connect with AU officials, experts, and other interns, building valuable professional networks.
