Precious Sibalo, a 35-year-old Zimbabwean woman, has achieved her lifelong dream of becoming a certified pilot, marking a remarkable transformation from her previous career as a flight waitress.Precious's dream of becoming a pilot was ignited during a school trip to an airport, where she noticed the absence of female pilots, which further fueled her determination to pursue a career in aviation.

Her journey, however, was not without its challenges. Raised by her grandmother after her mother's untimely death, Precious faced the daunting task of caring for a child at a young age. Despite these obstacles, she was unwavering in her pursuit of her dreams.To make her aspirations a reality, Precious moved to South Africa, where she worked as a waitress and a part-time model. It was during her time as a flight attendant that Precious rekindled her dream of becoming a pilot. After more than a decade of working as a cabin crew member, she decided to embark on her pilot training in 2017.With the support of her friends and family, Precious saved the necessary funds to pursue her pilot's license. She sought guidance from Qatar Airways, who recommended that she attend the 43 Air School in South Africa's Eastern Cape.

Now, Precious holds an Airline Transport Pilot License, the highest level of Aircraft Pilot License in the world, awarded by the 43 Air School.
