Agatu Community at FUHSO Honors Vice-Chancellor for Exemplary Leadership

During the visit, the President of the Association, Associate Professor Inalegwu Bawa, highlighted that the meeting, though long overdue, was prompted by the significant and multifaceted progress achieved under Professor Uba’s stewardship. He noted that the University’s remarkable developmental strides are too evident to overlook and expressed encouragement for the Vice-Chancellor to sustain the momentum of growth and transformation.
Responding, Professor Uba expressed deep gratitude to the Association for the recognition and emphasized that his doors remain open to groups and associations keen on partnering with the University to advance its mission. He also appealed to medical experts of Idoma extraction in the diaspora to return home and contribute to the development of Nigeria’s premier University of Health Sciences.
The highlight of the visit was the presentation of an Award of Excellence in Leadership, Inclusivity, and Institutional Governance to the Vice-Chancellor, acknowledging his outstanding contributions to the University’s growth.
