The management of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) has announced the commencement of sales for Inter-Faculty and Inter-University transfer forms for the 2024/2025 academic session. The sales will run from October 25 to November 30, 2024.

Interested candidates seeking Inter-Faculty transfers should log onto the ABU portal at [https://portal.abu.edu.ng](https://portal.abu.edu.ng), where they can access their portal and click on the inter-faculty transfers section. A payment of Three Thousand Naira (N3,000.00) is required, which can be made using an ATM card or by printing a transaction slip for payment at any commercial bank.

For those interested in Inter-University transfers, the process also begins on the ABU portal at [https://portal.abu.edu.ng/forms](https://portal.abu.edu.ng/forms). A payment of Five Thousand Naira (N5,000.00) is necessary, with payment options similar to the Inter-Faculty transfer.

Key guidelines include:

- Transfers are permitted only for candidates who have completed two consecutive academic sessions.

- Direct Entry candidates must have completed at least one session (two unbroken semesters).

- The minimum CGPA required for Inter-Faculty transfer is 1.00, while for Inter-University transfer, it is 2.40.

- Transfers are only available for students from 200 levels and above.

- Candidates must meet the university's minimum entry requirements for admission.

- Those withdrawn or expelled from other universities are ineligible for transfers.

- There will be no acceptance of transfers to the College of Medical Sciences, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Faculty of Law.

- Transfers will be subject to the carrying capacity of the respective departments.
