Ahmadu Bello University Delegation Attends UNESCO's Digital Learning Week in Paris

A delegation from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) is currently representing the institution at the Digital Learning Week at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, France.

The event, which runs from September 2-5, 2024, aims to promote multi-stakeholder cooperation in the design and use of artificial intelligence (AI) in education, with a focus on human-centered and climate-friendly approaches.

As the current holder of the IIOE Rotating Presidency Unit 2024, ABU is playing a key role in the event. The delegation includes:

The Digital Learning Week explores the interlinkages between digital transformation and greening education, aligning with ABU's recent national dialogue on the innovative use of AI in Nigerian higher education. The dialogue, organized in partnership with UNESCO-ICHEI, aimed to empower stakeholders to leverage AI in teaching, learning, and research, while addressing challenges related to responsible AI use and cybersecurity.
