Ahmadu Bello University Warns Students, Candidates, and Public over Nefarious Activities Defraud Unsuspecting Persons

Ahmadu Bello University ABU ZAIRA Warns Students, Candidates, and Public over nefarious activities of some individuals who have been cloning the social media accounts of its Vice-Chancellor, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria Prof. Kabiru Bala, to defraud unsuspecting persons, MYSCHOOLNEWS reports.

Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria wishes to draw the attention of members of the University community and general public to the nefarious activities of some individuals who have been cloning the social media accounts of its Vice-Chancellor, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria Prof. Kabiru Bala, to defraud unsuspecting persons.

It has become necessary to be reporting these criminal activities from time to time, as they keep on recurring since 2020 when the Vice-Chancellor assumed the mantle of leadership of the University to date.

The hackers often chat with the Vice-Chancellor's contacts via WhatsApp, Facebook, and other social media platforms on issues bordering contracts for the supply of computers and job offers, to swindle them.

While urging the general public to be wary of such hackers, the University Security Division is still working in tandem with other security agencies to track down the fraudsters for prosecution.
