Aiyedatiwa Commends Ondo Speaker Over Distribution of Educational Materials and Scholarships to 1,000 Students

Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State praised Rt. Hon. Olamide Oladiji, the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, for distributing educational materials and awarding scholarships to over 1,000 students in Ondo East and Ondo West constituencies. Speaking at an event in Ondo City, represented by Deputy Governor Olayide Adelami, Aiyedatiwa emphasized the importance of Oladiji’s commitment to enhancing education accessibility for all children, regardless of their socio-economic background.

Oladiji highlighted that this initiative, now in its second edition, aims to ease financial burdens on parents while maintaining educational standards. Beneficiaries, including students from his recent summer coaching program, received scholarships and educational supplies. Omoniyi Peace, a Nursing Science student at UNIMED, shared her gratitude for the support she has received over five years. The event concluded with presentations of cheques and educational materials, receiving praise from attendees for its significant impact on the community’s educational landscape.
