Alhaji Saidu Ibrahim has officially taken over as the new Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Katsina State. The handover ceremony, held on Friday, August 16, 2024, marks the transition from Hajiya Aisha Muhammad, who retired upon reaching the mandatory retirement age of 60.

In his address during the ceremony, Alhaji Saidu Ibrahim called for increased support and collaboration among staff to further the NYSC's objectives in the state. He emphasized his commitment to an open-door policy, pledging to prioritize the welfare of both staff and Corps Members.

Describing Katsina State as his second home due to his secondary education there, Alhaji Saidu expressed his gratitude for the warm reception he received. He also acknowledged the significant support from the Katsina State government, which has contributed to the achievements of the NYSC under the outgoing Coordinator.

The ceremony concluded with the signing of the handover documents, officially marking the start of Alhaji Saidu Ibrahim’s tenure as the new NYSC Katsina State Coordinator.
