Deputy Vice-Chancellor, UNIZIK Excels, Attains PhD Milestone at UNN

The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration), Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka (UNIZIK), Professor Joseph Ifeanyichukwu Ikechebelu, has achieved another milestone by obtaining a Doctorate Degree (PhD) from the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN).

The renowned Human Reproduction and Women's Health Expert, joined the ranks of distinguished graduates during the 51st Convocation Ceremony of the University of Nigeria Nsukka on Saturday, 25th November 2023. A total of 519 individuals were honored with Doctorate degrees at this prestigious event.

Professor Ikechebelu's academic journey also includes a previous Doctorate Degree in Gynecological Endoscopy from the National Postgraduate Medical College Lagos.

The Vice-Chancellor of UNN, Prof. Charles Arizechukwu Igwe, addressed the 1,548 Postgraduate degrees and Diplomas recipients in his convocation speech. He emphasized that graduation signifies not the termination of their association with UNN but rather a progression to a higher level of the relationship between proud alumni and their alma mater.
