Andrew Onwudinjo, a faculty member of the Institute of Humanities at Pan-Atlantic University, successfully defended his PhD thesis titled “Garret Hardin's Lifeboat Ethics and Migration in Africa: A Cosmopolitan Perspective” on October 2nd, 2024.

The groundbreaking research, which explores ethical dilemmas surrounding migration in Africa through the lens of Hardin’s lifeboat ethics, was supervised by Dr. Tony Okeregbe and Dr. Chris Oseghenwune. The defense was further enriched by the presence of esteemed academics, with Prof. Salami from Obafemi Awolowo University serving as the external examiner, and Prof. Douglas Anaele from the University of Lagos as the chair.
