Asmau and Hassan Foundation Seeks Enhanced Collaboration with Nasarawa State University

The Asmau and Hassan Foundation, a non-governmental organization, has requested support and collaboration from Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK) for its activities and projects in Nasarawa State and surrounding areas. 

During a recent courtesy visit to Vice-Chancellor Professor Sa'adatu Hassan Liman, Ahmed Sufiyan Alkassim, the foundation's spokesman, outlined their mission. He emphasized the foundation's REEF Program—Rehabilitation, Education, Empowerment, and Feeding—which aims to assist the vulnerable and needy.

Alkassim noted that the foundation is currently supporting some NSUK students and orphans with scholarships and has provided empowerment tools to over 20 widows in Keffi. He expressed a desire for greater collaboration with the university to enhance their outreach and impact.

In response, Professor Sa'adatu Hassan Liman praised the foundation’s humanitarian efforts and affirmed the university's commitment to supporting their initiatives. The visit concluded with the presentation of branded souvenirs to the Vice-Chancellor in appreciation of her support.
