ASUU-KASU Commends Kaduna State Government Over Intervention

The Academic Staff Union Of Universities, ASUU, KADUNA STATE UNIVERSITY, KASU, chapter, has commended the KADUNA STATE Government for addressing some of the longstanding challenges confronting the institution.

The chairman of ASUU-KASU, Dr Abubakar Abdullahi, made the remarks at a press briefing in Kaduna on the union’s ultimatum to the state government over what it described as poor working conditions and other challenges affecting the university.

According to Dr Abdullahi, the intervention by the KADUNA STATE Government has helped to ease some of the difficulties faced by staff and students of KASU.

He noted that while progress has been made, the union remains committed to engaging the government to ensure that all outstanding issues affecting academic and working conditions at KADUNA STATE UNIVERSITY are fully resolved.

The ASUU-KASU leadership reaffirmed its commitment to sustaining industrial harmony while prioritizing the welfare of members and the development of the university.
