ATBU Management and SUG Reach Agreement on School Charges

The management of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) has re-engaged with the Students' Union Government (SUG) to discuss a proposed increment in school charges.

Following extensive negotiations, the SUG has announced that a resolution has been reached, resulting in a lower proposed amount. The initial amount suggested by the management was deemed "outrageous" by the SUG, but constructive discussions have led to a more affordable and fair proposal.

The SUG has appealed to students to understand the current economic realities and the need for the university to operate smoothly in the upcoming session. The union has assured students that their concerns are being addressed and that their leadership is committed to ensuring the best interests of the student body.
