Augustine University, Ilara-Epe, marked the Feast Day of Saint Augustine of Hippo on Wednesday, 28th August 2024, in a special ceremony attended by staff and Augustinians worldwide. The celebration took place at the University Chapel, where Dr. Emmanuel Ogundele (Rev. Fr.) officiated the Holy Mass.
During his homily, Rev. Fr. Ogundele emphasized the virtues of Saint Augustine, encouraging attendees to reject sin, nurture their children in faith, and lead lives of service, good character, and love. He underscored the significance of aligning one’s life with God's will, inspired by Saint Augustine's teachings and legacy.
