Baba-Ahmed University Secures Final License to Operate in Nigeria

Baba-Ahmed University, located in Kano State, Nigeria, has received its final license to operate as a private university from the National Universities Commission (NUC).

The license marks a significant milestone for the institution, which was founded by Senator Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, a renowned educationist and politician.

Baba-Ahmed University was established by Dr. Baba Ahmed and is located along Sharada express road, Kano State.

The university offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including Accounting, Biochemistry, Business Administration, Computer Science, Economics, Entrepreneurship, and more.

The institution has two main faculties: Faculty of Management and Social Sciences, and Faculty of Sciences and Computing.

Professor Adamu Idris Tanko, FRGS, FANG, led the university's management team to the licensing event on August 22, 2025.
