Speaking at the ceremony, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ademola Tayo, urged the graduates to “pursue purpose over popularity” and “seek service, not status,” emphasizing the need for selfless dedication in the medical profession.
Guest speaker, Dr. Adaeze Oreh, encouraged the inductees to remain focused and committed to making a lasting impact on Nigeria’s healthcare system, while Provost of the Benjamin S. Carson (Snr) School of Medicine, Prof. John Sotunsa, called on them to be not only caregivers but also reformers and adopters of relevant medical technologies.

Among the highlights was the recognition of Chisom Okafor, who emerged as the star graduate with 10 distinctions and multiple cash awards.

The Class of 2025, dubbed the “Charis Graduating Class,” now joins the ranks of MDCN-registered professionals, prepared to heal, innovate, and transform lives.
