Bayero University Kano (BUK) has announced adjustments to its official working hours for the duration of the holy month of Ramadan. According to a general circular issued on March 3, 2025, by the Registrar’s office, the new working hours will take effect from Monday, 3rd March 2025, corresponding to 3rd Ramadan 1446AH.

Under the new schedule, offices within the university will close at 3:00 PM from Monday to Thursday, while on Fridays, the closing time will be 1:00 PM. The circular also noted that no refreshments would be served during official meetings throughout the Ramadan period in adherence to the fasting tradition.

The Vice-Chancellor of Bayero University Kano, Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas, extended his best wishes to the university community, praying for a successful Ramadan and seeking Allah’s blessings for all.
