The Federal Government has declared Wednesday, June 12, 2024, as a public holiday to commemorate Democracy Day.

Bayero University Kano has informed its community of the holiday, with exceptions for staff on shift duty, emergency, or essential services.

According to a circular issued by the Office of the Registrar, signed by Bala G. Abdullahi, Secretary, Information and Publication Division, work will resume on Thursday, June 13, 2024.
