BELLSTECH University Staff Advance 2024, Vice-Chancellor Calls for Embracing Academic Culture and Excellence

The 2024 Staff Advance of Bells University of Technology (BELLSTECH) commenced with an inspiring opening presentation by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Jeremiah O. Ojediran, on Day 1 of the event. Held on campus, the Vice-Chancellor emphasized the importance of understanding and internalizing the university’s academic culture, calling on staff members to uphold excellence and adhere to the institution's core values.

In his address, Professor Ojediran highlighted the key principles of inclusion, teamwork, and integrity as cornerstones of the BELLSTECH ethos. He urged staff members to recognize the symbiotic relationship between individual contributions and team success, stating, "The strength of the team is in her members, and the strength of each member is in the team. It's a symbiotic relationship. We must ensure we embrace all BELLSTECH cultural values that positively impact the university."

The afternoon session saw staff engage in a breakout session, followed by a presentation of a software product by Dr. Michael Adenibuyan, marking the first day's activities with innovative ideas and collaborative discussions.
