Borno State University recently held its sixth matriculation ceremony for newly admitted students. The ceremony saw 3,944 students take the matriculation oath, marking a significant milestone in their academic journey.

In his address, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Babagana Gutti urged the new students to uphold the values of reading, learning, discipline, and excellence. He also highlighted the university's gender policy as one of the best in the country, with equal representation of both genders in all courses offered.

The university received applications from across the nation, with 3,944 students admitted from all 27 Local Government Councils in Borno State and other states in the federation.
