BOSU Vice-Chancellor Pays Courtesy Visit on Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Governing Council, Alhaji (Dr.) Muhammadu Indimi

.The Vice-Chancellor Borno State University, Professor Babagana Gutti, on Friday led a high-powered delegation on a courtesy visit to the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman Governing Council of Borno State University, Alhaji (Dr.) Muhammadu Indimi, in his office.

The delegation included members of the University Management, Professor Emeritus Abubakar Mustapha, Professor Shettima Umara Bulakarima, representative of the Ministry of Education, and other members representing the Council.

Professor Gutti said they were at the Pro-Chancellor’s office to congratulate him on his numerous achievements in life, as well as to extend warm felicitations on the occasion of his birthday.

He also introduced the new Deputy Vice-Chancellors and all members of the Governing Council, noting that this visit was to formally present the council members to the Chairman ahead of their official inauguration by His Excellency on Monday.

In his response, the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council, Alhaji (Dr.) Muhammadu Indimi, warmly welcomed the Vice-Chancellor and his team.

He expressed delight with the visit, recalling with joy his four years of service and partnership with the institution.

Dr. Indimi commended Professor Emeritus Abubakar Mustapha and Professor Shettima Umara Bulakarima for their tireless contributions to the progress of the university and pledged to personally contribute his qouter towards the development of the Kashim Ibrahim Teaching Hospital, with a vision of making it one of the best teaching hospitals in Nigeria, thereby reducing the need for medical tourism abroad.

The Pro-Chancellor concluded with prayers for the continued growth and success of Borno State University and its Teaching Hospital.
