The Benue State University, Makurdi (BSU) graduate of political science, Aku Deborah announced becoming a member of the UNICEF Nigeria Generation Unlimited 9ja team.
In her words, she wrote;
Elated to become a member of the UNICEF Nigeria Generation Unlimited 9ja team. It’s been a worthwhile experience thus far.
Unemployment is a menace today and many youths are unaware of the opportunities they can harness to make make themselves relevant. Creating access to learning and job opportunities for young persons is the goal. Youths can smoothly transition from the learning phase to the earning phase.
YOMA and U-report Nigeria are platforms through which UNICEF aims to reach out to young persons with the help of the Young People’s Action Team (YPAT). In a short time, I’ll be unveiling the multitude of opportunities available. Watch this space!
