BUK Announces Date and Guidelines for 2025/2026 Matriculation Ceremony

The management of Bayero University Kano, BUK, has announced Thursday, 16th July 2026, for the 2025/2026 Matriculation Ceremony for newly admitted undergraduate students.  

According to a Special Bulletin released by the university on Thursday, 9th July 2026, the ceremony will hold at 1:00 p.m. at the Convocation Arena, New Campus, Bayero University, Kano.  

The university stated that students who wish to participate in the ceremony are required to book their matriculation gowns online. Bookings and collections will be done strictly on a first come, first served basis due to the limited number of gowns available.  

Students are to book their matriculation gowns through the university portal: http://mybuk2.buk.edu.ng/matriculation and pay the prescribed fee of N1,000.  

Upon successful payment, an acknowledgement slip will be generated, which must be presented at the point of collection.  

Gowns will be collected at the Directorate of Examinations, Admissions and Records, DEAR, New Campus, Bayero University, Kano.  

The university further advised newly admitted students to complete their bookings and collect their gowns early, as both processes will follow a strict first come, first served arrangement.
