BUK Professor Umma Abdullahi Becomes First Female Engineer Professor in Northern Nigeria

Bayero University Kano (BUK) is proud to announce the promotion of Professor Umma Abdullahi, Department of Mechanical Engineering, to the rank of Professor, effective December 27, 2024.

This milestone achievement makes her the first female engineer professor in Northern Nigeria and the third in Nigeria as a whole.
