Cheating allegations have surrounded India's prestigious National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate), or NEET-UG, due to an unusually high scores among candidates this year, with 67 students getting a full score of 720.

This year's exam has sparked outrage and protests as thousands of candidates achieved remarkably high marks, leading to concerns about the integrity of the testing process. Typically, only a fraction of the nearly 2.4 million students who take the exam secure scores high enough to qualify for admission to medical colleges. However, the 2024 results have seen a significant deviation from this norm, with an unexpected surge in top scores.
"The ranking system has been severely impacted by the unusually high marks this year, making it incredibly challenging for deserving candidates to secure admission," remarked a frustrated aspirant who preferred to remain anonymous.
