Delegation from the Faculty of Arts, led by the Dean, Prof. Cynado Ezeogidi have visited the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University VC Prof. Greg Nwakoby also the History Department Students Association presents a new Departmental Car to the VC.

The Vice Chancellor of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Prof. Greg Nwakoby on Thursday 28th September 2023, warmly received a delegation from the Faculty of Arts, led by the Dean, Prof. Cynado Ezeogidi. Among the visiting members were the heads of various departments within the faculty.

Their primary purpose for this visit was to express their gratitude to Vice Chancellor Prof. Greg Nwakoby for the newly built and furnished Faculty of Arts Complex. 

The Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Cynado Ezeogidi, in his address, lauded the Vice Chancellor and the entire University Management for fulfilling a critical need. He praised Vice Chancellor, Prof. Nwakoby as a visionary leader who understands the aspirations of the faculty. Additionally, he highlighted the faculty's history of maintaining a peaceful environment, which has positively contributed to the university's overall success.

The Vice Chancellor Professor Greg Nwakoby encouraged the Faculty, urging them to continue their efforts towards enhancement of learning in the University. 

He emphasized that the Faculty of Arts Building was a necessary addition achieved through collaborative efforts and support from Tetfund praying that they maximize the building's potential to fulfill its intended purposes.

Also during the visit, the History and International Studies Students Association (HISSA) presented a car gift for their Department to the Vice Chancellor. This thoughtful gesture was orchestrated by their Staff Adviser, Sir Chijioke A. C. Okoye, and the Departmental President, Comr Anyadiora Chinedu Paul, and his executives whose under their administration this was achieved. 

The Vice-Chancellor expressed his admiration for the Students' generosity and commended the Head of the Department, Dr. Ozioma Uchime, for her outstanding contributions to the department's growth over the years.
