The road, a vital link between Ekiti State and other destinations like Ondo, Kogi, and Abuja, serves important institutions including the state Government College, Federal Silos Centre, state Cargo Airport under construction, and Afe Babalola University, among others.Leaders of various staff unions at the Federal Polytechnic expressed frustration over the government's inaction despite years of appeals regarding the road's condition.
