COOU VC Strengthens Ties with Honorary Doctorate Recipients in Abuja

Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU) has reaffirmed its commitment to building stronger partnerships between academia and the private sector as the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Kate Azuka Omenugha, fnipr, led a delegation on courtesy visits in Abuja to two distinguished honorary doctorate recipients of the institution, Dr. Taiwo Afolabi and Mr. Allen Ifechukwu Onyema.

Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU) has reaffirmed its commitment to building stronger partnerships between academia and the private sector as the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Kate Azuka Omenugha, fnipr, led a delegation on courtesy visits in Abuja to two distinguished honorary doctorate recipients of the institution, Dr. Taiwo Afolabi and Mr. Allen Ifechukwu Onyema.

During the visit to Dr. Taiwo Afolabi, Group Executive Vice Chairman of SIFAX Group, Prof. Omenugha praised his outstanding contributions to national development, philanthropy, and support for education, describing him as a role model whose achievements continue to inspire the younger generation. She emphasized the University’s readiness to deepen collaboration with corporate leaders whose values align with COOU’s vision for innovation and societal impact.
